We no longer trust the buffetts here on Boracay, they’re on the main footpath within 12 inches of thousands of people walking past kicking up dust, coughing and sneezing. No form of cover on the food as it sits on a table in semisanitary conditions with locals using bare fingers to load their plates. Everytime we tried, it ended in a night of cramping so we leave it be to protect our apparent delicate digestive systems. However if your constitution is fortified to Filipino standards then the selection of buffets and food types is quite large and definately easy on the purse and pocketbook.
